Rocky Run Stream Valley Trail is part of the countywide trail system. This trail runs from the Fairfax County Parkway to Ellanor C. Lawrence Park. The distance along the trail from the Parkway to the Park is approximately 4.6 miles. The trail has a variety of surfaces – both asphalt and stonedust. Stream crossings include bridges, fairweather crossings and paved swales. The trail runs through the Rocky Run Stream Valley Park as well as Greenbriar Park, and also follows the small Rocky Run Creek for a majority of its length.
Parking is available on the west end of the trail at Greenbriar and Poplar Tree Parks off Stringfellow Road, and in Ellanor C. Lawrence Park at Walney Road.
There are no public lots at the east end, however several businesses and apartment complexes are located at the end of the trail and may be able to offer spaces.
